10th August '09 Tag Rugby Festival We have the all clear for the tag rugby event on Friday 18th September. This will be held under lights on both pitches in Donnybrook kicking off at 7.00 with the final being played at 9.30. There will be BBQ & beer all evening and a disco to cap things off later on. Some of the countries top teams have already committed to play and places are limited. We are now accepting entries so please spread the word; anyone looking to enter a team should contact me ASAP. We are also looking for a headline sponsor. This is a significant event so all assistance is welcome. Contact Donal Milmo-Penny for more information. |

ooooo Rugby Fans Unite - Charity Event in Kiely’s of Donnybrook There is a Charity Event in Kielys of Donnybrook this Sunday August 23rd at 4.00 In memory of Stuart Mangan who sadly lost his life recently to an unfortunate rugby injury in April 2008. Down a few pints & come watch the Leinster V Munster Game & the Heineken Cup Favourite Leinster V Leicester. All donations will go to the IRFU Charitable Trust as requested by the Mangan Family. ooooo It is with sadness that we heard last night of the passing of Stuart Mangan yesterday, Friday August 7th. Our deepest sympathies to his cousin Eamonn Sayers and all of Stuart's family and friends. Thanks to all of those in Bective, and the wider rugby family, who fundraised for Stuart in the last year. ooooo |
