Ladies Lunch 2011 PDF Print E-mail
It has become a tradition in Bective each season that at one of the AIL pre-match lunches the ladies are made particularly welcome; there is no doubt 2010/11 was bigger and better than its predecessors.

 

The selected date was 4th December last when Bective were due to host Malone – but weather intervened! However, with the match re-fixed for Saturday 8th January the lunch was rescheduled and held last Saturday. Each of the 50 women present had a most enjoyable afternoon meeting old friends and making new ones and were warmly welcomed by everyone at the lunch. With over 35 others present, including 15 Bective Past Presidents, the “Bective Dollies” and the journalist and poet Billy Keane, there was a great atmosphere and plenty of colour at the event.
