The new Aviva Stadium hosted its first match on Sat. 31st July 2010. Two Bective players featured in Leinster / Ulster's comprehensive 68 Nil win over Connaught / Munster. Both are products of Mini / Youth rugby in Bective. A third Bective player, Emmet McMahon just failed to make the 22. Cathal Marsh played most of the second half and contributed 3 conversions into the "low" Havelock Square end which is difficult for kickers. Alex was impressive in the centre and set up a couple of tries. Well done to all. |
