Lansdowne vs Bective 3XV

SAT 26 APRIL | OLLIE CAMPBELL PARK | KO: 3PM

GENERAL UPDATE

The club and the players keep going after the highs of last week and our 1XV momentous return to the AIL. With the season winding down, it was left to our 3XV & 4XV attempting to make their own piece of history in their respective cup semi-finals last Saturday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for our 4XV, losing out in a tight game to MU Barnhall RFC.

But good news on our 3XV, overcoming Guinness RFC by 22-12 and qualifying for the final of the O’Connor Cup for the second year in a row. Our 3XV are on a fantastic run again this season, topping the League outright but losing out to St. Marys’ RFC in the Play-Off Final. All support greatly appreciated around the corner in Old Belvedere this Saturday to roar on our 3XV and hopefully bring back another trophy to Bective.

Also, our U18.5 are still on the road too, after overcoming the DLM Ba Ba’s (DLSP, St. Mary’s & Lansdowne) have now qualified for the semi-final versus the Northside Raiders (Coolmine & Suttonians) at Coolmine on Sunday 27 April, KO 12 midday. The squad is built largely on last year’s league winning U17 team plus a number of new players to the club. All support is welcome!!
