This announcement comes on the heels of an exceptional 2024/25 season, which saw Bective Rangers achieve an unprecedented quadruple victory, securing the All Ireland Junior Cup, the Leinster League, the Spencer Cup, and promotion back to All Ireland League (AIL) Division 2C.

Speaking about the upcoming season, Head Coach Ben Manion expressed his optimism:

"The retention of our existing players is a significant boost, and our recruitment efforts are progressing well. We are genuinely excited about the challenge of competing in AIL 2C and are focused on climbing the league table."

Forwards Coach Peter O'Donnell echoed this sentiment, highlighting the momentum gained from last season:

"With the success we experienced and the emergence of players like Conor Kelly, who earned a Leinster 'A' cap, we are in a strong position. The addition of new talent to our already dynamic forward pack will undoubtedly enhance our competitiveness in AIL 2C."

Rory O'Loughlin shared his enthusiasm for returning to his home club:

"Being back at Bective and achieving what we did last season was incredible. We are now building on that foundation. We have a talented backline, and with some exciting new faces and potential surprises, we are confident in our ability to compete with the best in AIL 2C."

Ben Kealy, a member of the Rugby Council, conveyed the Club's excitement:

"The Club is absolutely delighted to have our accomplished coaching team back for the new season. We extend our sincere gratitude to Louis Magee Jnr for his valuable contributions to the squad over the past few seasons and warmly welcome Ben Ryan and Sean Geraghty to the 2nd XV coaching team."

Kealy also provided updates on the strength and conditioning and medical teams:

"Sean O'Reilly will continue his excellent work as our S&C coach. We are in the process of appointing a new physiotherapist following the upcoming overseas travel of Sarah Jane and Cian Holmes. We thank Sarah and Cian for their dedicated service to the Club."

Declan Lawler, Club Director, enthusiastically highlighted the continued development within the club, stating,

"It's fantastic news that David McAllister will remain as Under 20s coach, allowing us to build upon last season's success with a largely underage squad once again. The 3rds' cup victory was a real highlight last season, and we are committed to further supporting both our 3rd and 4th teams in the upcoming season. Fielding four senior adult teams, a strong U20s side, vibrant youths, and a thriving minis section truly showcases the strength and depth of Bective Rangers, and we are incredibly proud of the participation across all levels."

"Bective Rangers is in a fantastic position. Returning to the AIL, coupled with our new clubhouse, state-of-the-art gym, and superb location in Donnybrook with 4G pitches, provides us with a strong platform to compete in the AIL and drive the Club forward. These are truly exciting times for Bective."
