Round 14 – Leinster League Division 1A – The trip south to Tullow was made with the knowledge that one point was all that was required to take the league title

Dr Bill Mulcahy, who passed away on 28 Feb was a revered member of Bective.  A native of Co. Limerick he played rugby with Bohemians, UCD and Bective, earning 35 caps over his illustrious career, the first in 1958.

Round 13 – Leinster League Division 1A – Billed as a crucial penultimate fixture, this eagerly awaited home clash against Seapoint RFC was set to play a decisive role in determining the league champions.
